3. High intensity soil surveys for mined land reclamation, sanitary landfill planning, irrigation and fertility management.

4. Ordinary High Water Mark determinations as defined by North Dakota law.

- We provide hydric soil, wetland, and landscape interpretation expertise.

We work independently -- or as part of an interdisciplinary team.  We have access to other specialists as project needs require (e.g. additional Registered Professional Soil Classifiers, Engineers, Biologists, Botanists, GIS and GPS Specialists) and have provided timely soil expertise to many other consulting firms and specialists.

Prairie Soil Consulting has the equipment necessary to do the job, including a hydraulic Giddings soil boring machine (capable of sampling to 12 feet), a small tractor-mounted backhoe, all-terrain vehicles, and appropriate hand augers and sampling equipment.
